Bachman Lake Together
Bachman Lake Together (BLT) is a place-based, non-profit organization focused on improving kindergarten readiness in the Bachman Lake neighborhood of Northwest Dallas. Serving as a catalyst for change for the community of Bachman Lake (BL), Bachman Lake Together leverages education as an asset for the community’s future economic stability. Bachman Lake Together’s mission is to unite the Bachman Lake Community to fully prepare children for kindergarten – academically, socially and emotionally – so they can thrive in school and in life. Through a grassroots, dual-generation and community-based approach, Bachman Lake Together collaborates with families and over 50 community partners to achieve the shared goal of improving kindergarten readiness outcomes for all Bachman Lake children.
